Jaffna felt like a peaceful change of pace after my usual busy city life, and our one-night stay was really comfortable. I was there with friends on my first trip to Jaffna in July and August 2025. The host was supportive and accommodated all our requests. We got great hospitality and service for what we paid. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable.

The place feels worn out and dirty. The rooms and bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and the sheets were stained and torn.

Raj was always on hand with suggestions, helped me arrange a moped, and gave me a route for seeing Jaffna. Before I arrived, I messaged him about a cooking course, and he had arranged for me to cook with a local family. I’d highly recommend that. The room was spacious and clean, with great air conditioning and a nice shower. It seems to be the place to stay in Jaffna, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast costs an extra 900 LKR per person, and it’s an excellent, generous spread of authentic food that changes each day. Raj’s place is a peaceful spot to unwind after sightseeing, and it’s a good base for a few days in Jaffna. The simple rooms are clean, with great air conditioning and a hot shower with very good pressure. A few local restaurants are about a five-minute walk away; Jaffna town is around 25 minutes on foot or a short drive. Raj is friendly, welcoming, and knows the area well. We really enjoyed his hospitality and would stay again if we return to Jaffna.

Raj was friendly and helpful, offering advice and making sure everyone was comfortable. The clean, spacious room was a great place to stay in Jaffna. Breakfast is 900 LKR, with a choice of a couple of options and generous portions of delicious home-cooked food.
