Madu sorted out our dolphin watching tour, a half-day safari in Wilpattu, and kitesurfing rental. He was friendly and fun throughout, and Nixon was a big help with all the kiting. The chalet had an amazing sea view, right by the beach, with waves to wake up to and beautiful sunsets each evening. Everyone gave great service. Can’t wait to visit again!

You can spend the day relaxing on the beach, seeing dolphins, taking a safari in quiet Wilpattu national park, doing morning yoga, or having kite surfing lessons. Windy waves is a lovely, safe-feeling bubble in Sri Lanka, with beautiful rooms right on the beach and a great location. The staff are welcoming and sincere, and they help arrange things so you can enjoy your stay without having to think it all through. I felt at home there, and would recommend it to solo travelers, couples, friends, or families. 🥰

Each cabana has a coconut fence around it, so you get privacy and can enjoy your own peaceful time. Nice touch. Good value for money and better customer service. Recommend 👍

Kite lessons are available with friendly instructors, and the restaurant serves really fresh, delicious food. The rooms were clean and nice, right on the beach. I enjoyed my stay and can warmly recommend the place. I’ll definitely come back soon!

We were staying at another hotel, but came here just for dinner. The sea view made the meal even better, and the food was amazing with really good service. They put in extra effort to make every dinner memorable and make us feel special. Thank you, Manu and Tusi, for a wonderful experience!
