Amaya Hills Kandy Hotel

Chathumi gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed our stay at Amaya Hills, with its peaceful green surroundings and lovely views. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the service was good overall. The dining was pleasant, though we waited a while for water and restaurant service could have been a bit more attentive. We’d recommend the hotel for its relaxing setting, location, and friendly staff.

Chathumi deserves special appreciation for being warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Her professionalism made our stay more memorable. Everything was organized and handled professionally from the moment we arrived. The hotel’s cleanliness, atmosphere, and hospitality reflect high standards. Amaya Hills deserves top recognition for its excellent service.

I only stopped by Amaya Hills in Kandy to drop off a few colleagues for their vacation, but the welcoming, professional reception made a strong impression. Chathumi and Nethmi handled everything smoothly and helped my colleagues feel comfortable and excited about their stay. The property has beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. Even from a brief visit, the service and warm, friendly feel stood out. Based on that experience, I’d recommend Amaya Hills to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Kandy.

The hotel’s location is incredible, with some of the best views I’ve seen from a lobby or room. The food was fantastic too, with great quality and variety. I enjoyed my two-night stay at Amaya Hills during our visit to Kandy, but I’d likely choose somewhere else next time. Our two bathrooms had terrible odours. Management offered to move us, but we asked if the problem could be fixed instead. Housekeeping only managed a temporary solution, and the smell returned soon after. The hotel also has numerous random steps that aren’t all clearly marked, which was difficult for my elderly relative. The staff were all kind and friendly, but drink service at dinner was slow. More troubling, a staff member asked a family member for a review and then posted a five-star review on my relative’s behalf. I wasn’t impressed.
