The location makes it easy to get into Kandy town, and the lake is right next door. Aronka Homestay is far enough from the road that there was no traffic noise, just the gentle waterfall outside the balcony. The room had AC and a bathroom Jacuzzi, plus a very comfortable bed and mosquito nets. Breakfast was superb, and I always left full and ready for the day. I can hardly find anything to fault. The only small thing is that this was the first place that didn't serve sausage at breakfast, which is hardly a big complaint. It was the best place we stayed in all of Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

Our host was the friendliest person we met on the trip, and he helped us well beyond our stay. He also speaks perfect English. The place is very close to Kandy's main attraction, the Tooth Temple. I highly recommend it.

Jam was lovely and arranged our transport, including picking us up at the station. We had a good breakfast, and the rooms were clean. The terrace looks out over a beautiful forest view.

The owner is very friendly and gave us his WhatsApp contact in case we had more questions. He also suggested lots of interesting places to visit. Tuk-tuk transport to the house is part of his service, which is useful since tuk-tuk drivers can charge tourists high fares. Thank you!
