It felt a bit like being invited into a family home and using one of their bedrooms. The place was somewhat dirty, and dead bugs were hanging from old cobwebs on the bathroom ceiling. Dogs barking in the back alleys also made it hard for us to sleep on both nights. There was a mix-up about driver accommodation. We’d asked before arriving whether they had a place for our driver, and they said they didn’t. But without checking with us, they gave him a room and added an extra bill of 20$. I’m sure it was a miscommunication, but it was still irritating.

The rooftop view was splendid, and we could have spent hours up there. Blue Ribbon villa was very clean and well maintained, and the food was really tasty, with a hearty breakfast. Saman and the team were helpful and arranged what we needed comfortably. We also had a barbecue day with home made hoppers. We made unforgettable memories, and I highly recommend the place.
