Villa Victoria Edge

The misty surroundings are beautiful, and the view of Victoria Dam from the south side is especially breathtaking at night. Villa Victoria Edge feels private and peaceful, a good place to relax, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The upkeep was a real problem during our stay at Villa Victoria last weekend. The rooms, furniture, and washroom were dirty, and some items had been left uncleaned. After we complained, the balconies and rooms had to be swept and mopped again, which took about an hour of our time. That night, rain came through the roof in one upstairs room and disturbed our sleep. There were seven of us, despite the claim that the villa could sleep ten, there were only six beds and no extra bed, so one person slept on the floor. We also had people come to repair the garden by the pool after we arrived. We asked them to wait until we left because it disturbed our privacy. There is no outdoor kitchen, and the caretaker and another person came inside to prepare food, which also affected our privacy. I wouldn’t recommend Villa Victoria Edge for a pleasant holiday. The owner needs to take steps to maintain the villa.

The staff at Victoria Edge were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the stay. I also loved the wide views from the location, which made it a peaceful place to unwind. It was a memorable balance of good service and natural scenery.

The floors and surfaces were dirty, and there were unpleasant smells in the bathroom, kitchen, rooms, and shared areas. Cleanliness across the amenities fell short of what I expected, especially for the price and reputation. It affected my stay, and I hope management sorts these hygiene issues out for future guests.
