We were the only guests, and they hosted us perfectly. Shannon’s wonderful food made us feel thoroughly spoiled. The place is beautifully furnished and truly special. It’s a little way out of Kandy, but the journey is worth it.

We loved the peaceful jungle setting, the magnificent views and the pool. The food was wonderful too. Such a beautiful villa, and the Bouganvillea team were so hospitable :)

Even with rain throughout our whole stay, I fell in love with this place and can’t wait to return. It was a beautiful oasis, and we were lucky to spend a few nights there. The animals were adorable, the food was incredible, and the rooms were beautiful. Service was amazing, the hosts were exceptional, and they catered to all our needs. We left today and I already feel homesick. From the moment you arrive, everyone makes you feel at home. I would’ve stayed much longer if I’d known how lovely it was. Thank you to everyone, hope to see you soon xxx

We arrived at 6:30 even though our expected arrival time was 8:00, and the manager welcomed us and quickly got our room ready. The service was great throughout. As foodies, we were especially impressed by the personalized experience and the food Shannon made. We even brought him a jackfruit, which he turned into a delicious curry, and we packed the leftovers for our day out 🤤. A unique experience, and I’d highly recommend it if you want something different.

The rooms were wonderful, with a private entrance to a lovely bungalow and its own patio. We also loved the amazing pool and gorgeous landscape. It was relaxing and fun, the food was definitely worth writing home about, and the staff and management were kind and excellent. Outstanding in every way. Don’t miss it.
