Golden Shower Inn

Manori, the owner, gave us such a warm welcome that we felt comfortable with the whole family right away, especially their newest addition. The rooms were spotless, and the washroom was exceptionally clean. We also enjoyed the delicious home-cooked meals. It’s close to the city but just far enough from Kandy City’s hustle and bustle. We’ll visit this amazing place again.

The common areas and rooms are spacious, open, and very clean. The owner is kind, and I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Everything in the room was new, and the location made it easy to get to the main tourist sites. I highly recommend this guesthouse if you want to explore the region in comfort.

I paid extra for dinner and breakfast, and both were delicious. The balcony view was amazing, too. Having tea while watching the morning sun was a really precious moment. The owner is kind, the rooms and living room are spacious and airy, and everything is very clean. Best hostel in Kandy! I’d definitely stay here again if I get the chance to visit.

Our hotel booking fell through because of a miscommunication, so we ended up at Golden Shower Inn by chance on November 16, 2024. What a happy accident. The owners welcomed us and made us feel at home right away, turning a stressful start into a lovely stay. The service was friendly and attentive, and we were impressed by how clean the rooms and bathrooms were. You can tell the team takes hygiene seriously. We’re glad we found Golden Shower Inn and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for a comfortable, clean stay with top-notch service.
