Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of fresh, tasty choices each morning. I also loved having tea on the balcony and taking in the view of Kandy’s natural beauty. My room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with working air conditioning and cozy but bright lighting. From the moment I arrived, the staff were kind, attentive, and ready to help. Hill Roost Hotel made me feel at home, and I’d happily come back.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed to relax. What stayed with me most was how carefully the manager looked after my baby. That meant a lot to me. The staff made the place feel warm and welcoming, and we were treated with so much care. I was very happy with our stay at Hill Roost and would recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable place in Kandy.

The chef was a standout, making delicious breakfasts and even preparing lunch for me. He was kind and helpful, too, and explained how to get to my next stop. He even spoke with the tuk-tuk driver to make sure I got to the right bus for Nuwara Eliya. I spent two comfortable nights at Hill Roost. The room was clean, the bed cozy, and the shower had both hot and cold water with great pressure. It’s peaceful and convenient, about a 300 rupee tuk-tuk ride from Kandy Lake or the bus station. WiFi was reliable as well. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We stayed yesterday and it was well worth it. The place is clean and new, and works really well for a family trip to Kandy. Great food, too. Thanks for all the hospitality, guys. Highly recommended.
