The drinks were very expensive, which I didn't like. On the plus side, there was no service charge on the bill, and the place had lovely paintings on the walls with a lot of history. There were lots of plants inside, and the lake views and location were great. Service was also great, he was attentive, quick, and a gentleman.

The views were good, and the staff were humble and courteous. Their service is the only thing that saves the place for me, though the food was sadly terrible, well below average. I ordered an Italian dish and black coffee. I've had better coffee at a roadside tea room in Sri Lanka. I bet I could cook the Italian food better with one hand tied and a terrible hangover.

As a newly married couple, we had a great time here, and it added a beautiful memory to our honeymoon. We'd love to visit again. Ravi, the F&B Manager, deserves special thanks for making everything smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. The customer service was exceptional. The staff understood the quality and flavor we wanted, and communicated thoughtfully to make sure our expectations were met.

We paid LKR 3400 for a decent Tom Yum Soup and didn't get anything like a 5 star dining experience. The Kandy Lake view was good, but that's about the only thing worth mentioning. The food was plain average, and I don't see what makes this place so hyped. It was overpriced, and the waiters confused us by pushing us to order more.

That grill platter cost 12000 LKR and was drowned in industrial BBQ sauce. It was disgusting and hard to eat. I strongly don't recommend the food there.
