Kandy Hill Escape

We arrived around 3.30, although the woman I'd called the night before had said rooms were available and check-in began at 2 pm. Only their son was there. The owner then told me by phone that just one downstairs room was left and there were no balcony rooms available. He said another room would open after 5 pm, and asked us to wait in the downstairs room, which was in poor condition. Even without giving us a proper room, the guy asked for 3500 and my ID. After a while, we got the money back and left. I'd trusted the published reviews, but now I'm not sure they're true. Very disappointing.

We had a car, so getting to this guesthouse away from the noisy town was easy. It's up on a hill, and the balcony had an awesome view. The rooms were spacious, clean, and affordable, with a clean bathroom and hot water. The hosts were friendly, and their son was helpful too. Since we had a big vehicle, they let us park in their garage. I'd recommend staying here.

We came back here mainly to sleep after spending most of the day out, and it worked really well for that. The room and bathroom were very spacious, and it was quiet with no disturbances, so we had a peaceful night's rest. We stayed for two days and found the people friendly and the place very nice. There isn't a great view or anything, but I'd still recommend it.

The peaceful atmosphere in the greenery made this a lovely place to stay in Kandy. Our room was cozy, with a private balcony and a beautiful view. The welcome was warm and check-in went smoothly. Kandy Hills Escape Hotel exceeded what I expected, with serene surroundings and great service.
