The rooms were huge, comfortable, and spotless, but the part we keep thinking about is Asitha himself. He was so kind and genuinely interested in us, and made every interaction feel personal. We left feeling like we'd made a friend, and we're definitely going to stay in touch. Breakfast was different each day, generous, delicious, and made with real care. We also loved hearing the stories behind the beautiful things in his home, and Asitha was happy to share tips on where to find similar pieces. He patiently answered all our questions and paid attention to every detail. After all our travels, he stands out as one of the most remarkable people we've met. A 10 doesn't seem nearly enough, he deserves 100. Thank you for everything, Asitha.

Asitha makes staying here such a special experience. The house feels like a real home, beautifully arranged and decorated, and it's set among the lovely hills around Kandy. The city center and the famous temple are only a short Tuk-Tuk ride away. There's no pool, and we didn't need one. We really didn't want to leave.

We'd happily come back one day. It's a place that works well for families or solo travelers, and the room comes with access to the whole house, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. Breakfast on the balcony was delicious, too. Mr. Asitha, the owner, was always ready to answer questions or help sort things out. He could also drive us into the city center or to some of Kandy's amazing sites. The hospitality and service were excellent.
