Our two nights here with the kids felt just like being at home. The family who runs the hotel were so kind and thoughtful, making sure we had what we needed throughout the stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, a nice place to unwind after our days out. The children had a great time, and we all enjoyed being here. We’d happily recommend it to families looking for a cozy place to stay.

The quiet atmosphere, private balcony, clean room, and reasonable price made this a great place to stay alone. Mahaweli View Inn Hotel – Kandy is about 15-20 minutes from Kandy town. The kind uncle and auntie made me feel safe and looked after during my solo trip. I’d definitely recommend it as a safe spot for women traveling on their own.

The balcony breakfast is something I’ll remember for a long time, and the hospitality at this small hotel made the stay feel special. The view was incredible for the price, the kind of thing that would cost hundreds at other hotels. After eight months traveling around Asia, I hadn’t found value like this. We loved the room so much we added more nights. If you get the chance to stay here, I highly recommend it. I’ll always remember this place.

We could get into town with a short drive, while still being far enough away to avoid the noise. Mahaweli View Inn was a lovely quiet retreat, with beautiful views of the Mahaweli River and the surrounding mountains. The rooms were cozy and very clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It was easy to relax and enjoy Kandy’s natural beauty here. Highly recommended for a visit to Kandy.

We had a good homemade meal, and the WiFi worked. Parking was available too. The rooms were clean and tidy, with lovely views of the Mahaweli River. I could sit on the balcony watching it for ages.
