We stayed four days in a four bedroom dorm with two bunk beds and an ensuite. The kitchen worked perfectly well for breakfast and evening meals, and it was handy having lockers, with keys supplied by the friendly owner. He also told us about the pretty cheap laundry facilities. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the linen was fresh. There was a powerful ceiling fan, plus air-conditioning as a bonus. I liked the balcony for getting some morning air with a coffee. A monkey stole my friend's coffee on the first morning, so watch out for them, haha. It's a bit off the beaten track, but I thought it was great.

The place is clean, secure, good value, and has all the self-catering amenities you need. If you're with a group and want comfort and some seclusion, it's a great option. Just keep in mind it's out of town, up a hill and on the wrong side of the lake, so you'll need to pay tuk tuks to get to and from central Kandy. That gets inconvenient, and the fares add up quickly.
