The staff were always kind and friendly, and looked after us so well during four days of heavy rain from the cyclone. We had a City View room and were glad it was large. The rooftop Restaurant served us nice food. Thank you for your hospitality. We’d love to come again! Irmi and Werner from 504.

We only had a short stay because of our itinerary, but Sevana City Hotel was a nice base in Kandy. Its location is useful, about a kilometre from the railway station and near the main bus stand, with lovely hill views around the city. We were in room no. 604, Deluxe King; City View, and the broad view of the hills through the large windows was enchanting. I could have sat there looking out much longer if we hadn’t been on a tight schedule. We arrived close to closing time for the in-house dining, but the staff still welcomed us and got us sandwiches, burgers, and fries after a tiring day of travel. The food was good in both quality and quantity, and reasonably priced. The seating area by the rooftop pool gets a refreshing breeze and has a beautiful city view, with a peaceful feel. The room was cozy, clean, hygienic, and had what we needed for a short visit. Parking at the property wasn’t available, which was the main drawback. The room rates also seemed a little high for a mid-range hotel. Still, I’d recommend it for a short trip, especially if you want to stay in the city center near the station and bus stand. I was there during the storm, and the staff helped me a lot. Thanks so much. It’s a high quality hotel, with a clean, comfortable, well designed room. There’s a great restaurant and pool on the roof.

I went with my kids and family in August, and we got a warm welcome. The staff were kind and gave us information about places to see and shop near the hotel. Everyone was lovely, and the manager and owner took care of what we needed. We enjoyed the rooftop pool. There are several menu choices if you want to eat in, and other kinds of food within walking distance. For the price and quality in the city, I highly recommend the hotel.

The rooftop view is amazing, a great place to hang out. Service was great too, and every staff member was unbelievably hospitable. Shiran, the coffee expert, even made a lovely heart and swan in my flat whites!
