The pool feels wonderfully idyllic, and the whole place is peaceful and quiet while still close enough to Kandy’s city centre. We had breakfast and dinner there, sticking to Sri Lankan dishes, and both were really excellent. The staff were very friendly, and we had a great stay. I’d come back. One suggestion for the owners: please add curtains to the bathroom window.

The tea and food were excellent, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We spent two nights at this small, intimate hotel just outside the busy city centre. It’s close enough to get into town, but has a relaxed little oasis feel. We’d love to return.

Sweet Cinnamon is peaceful, clean, and welcoming, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Kandy. It feels like a home away from home, thanks to the people who run it with such warmth and sincerity. The management made sure I felt comfortable, respected, and well cared for from the moment I arrived. Heartfelt thanks to the whole team, Mariyam, Kumar, Nuwan, Varsha, and Pradees, for their care and hospitality. Special appreciation to the cook for the A wonderful stay made special by the people behind it. Highly recommended 🤍

A calm, green setting near central Kandy, and the staff took such good care of me. I had a great time here. Worth discovering.

The service was very attentive. The person in charge kept checking that everything was fine and asking whether we wanted anything else. The meals were very good, and since we were the only guests in 12/2022, we felt like we had a beautiful villa to ourselves. The hotel is lovely, with a large room and a garden full of trees and flowers, including spices and cinnamon trees. It was under new management in 2022, and compared with our previous visit in 02/2020, the management and at least some of the staff had changed. The route up the hill from the house to the pool could still be improved.
