Chathurika from the Guest Experience team made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. She was warm, friendly, attentive to details, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. The birthday surprise they put together was amazing and made the celebration really memorable. Chathurika deserves special thanks for the creative ideas and careful planning, and Ayesha was a great help with smooth coordination. The food at Goldan Crown Hotel was delicious and prepared to a high standard. Excellent service and support from the team, and some of the best food in Kandy. Highly recommend!

The best part was that they made fresh food for my infant whenever we asked, and didn’t charge for it. The hotel was spacious and very clean, with a well-kept pool and a beautiful view. Staff were kind, the food was good, and halal options were available. There were plenty of amenities, and the location was great, close to the city but surrounded by mountains. We could hear birds all day, and it made for a truly relaxing stay.

Aysha made sure we were well looked after and arranged the rooftop high tea we requested. We were in the hotel’s new wing to celebrate an occasion, and the staff’s personal touches in our room were a lovely surprise. Reception, service, and treatment were all very good, and the room was clean and comfortable. The food was good too. Our only disappointment was the Spa area, which felt neglected and needed freshening up, even though the treatment itself was good.

The buffet was the standout for us, with a huge range of choices and everything we tried tasting delicious. It was one of the best we’ve experienced, and a memorable part of our honeymoon. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well designed, making it easy to relax after exploring Kandy. The Golden Crown in Kandy felt like a true luxury hotel, from its grand entrance and elegant lobby to its modern, spacious, beautifully maintained property. A fantastic stay that added a touch of luxury to our Sri Lanka honeymoon.
