The breakfast buffet had Sri Lankan and Western choices at reasonable prices, and the food was really tasty. The hotel has pleasant air-conditioned rooms, with a lovely view across Kandy and the nearby mountains. A nice place to stay.

The view was outstanding, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our balcony door was blocked and put together so poorly that I could fit my hand between the door and the window. A bathroom spotlight hung loose from the ceiling, with water dripping from it, and there were lizards on the walls. At 11 pm, seven staff boys aged 14 to 18 were playing drums in the room below us.

The hilltop room balconies and dining area look out over Kandy, with a panoramic view. The restoration feels upscale, and the staff were genuinely lovely, friendly, and very helpful.

The mountain view is lovely, and the rooms are large, clean, and have balconies. The front office staff were very friendly. A nice Kandy stay, and one I'd recommend to everyone.

For my honeymoon, the room was arranged perfectly. It was neat and clean, the staff were good and looked after us well, and the wide views from the room were beautiful.
