Pringi and Srimal made us feel welcome from the start. They're the most thoughtful, helpful hosts we've stayed with, and they made sure we were comfortable throughout. The room was spacious and clean, in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood. We also had a lot of fun at Pringi’s cooking class. Communication was easy. Book here if you want wonderful hospitality.

We loved our stay at The Peppermint. Pringi and Srimal welcomed us warmly and kept us entertained from the moment we arrived. The homestay is spacious and clean, set in a lovely, peaceful area surrounded by jungle, and just a short tuktuk ride from Kandy city centre. Breakfast was lovely, and we got to join an evening cooking class and prepare dinner. We hope to come back someday.

We slept so well, with the peaceful sounds of the jungle in the background. The house is beautiful and quiet, and Pringi's cooking made every meal a highlight. She's easily the best cook you could hope for. Pringi is also incredibly kind and helpful. Her husband and she helped us with visas, laundry, buses, local transport, and so many great recommendations. Their tips led us to local experiences we wouldn't have found otherwise. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and at home. This was the best part of our whole Sri Lanka trip. We can't recommend the place enough, and would give it more than 10 stars if we could. Thank you, Pringi. We hope to see you again soon!

We were sorry we couldn't stay longer. Pringi and her husband were so welcoming and went out of their way to help us during our short time in Kandy. Their home is beautiful, our room was spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. The terrace was a lovely place to relax, and we enjoyed delicious tea with them when we arrived. They gave us plenty of tips for seeing as much of Kandy as possible. For our early departure, they helped us find the right bus, and Pringi's husband got up early to drop us at the bus station at 5am. Pringi even packed us delicious sweet roti to eat on the bus. The property is up on the hill above Kandy, with tuk tuks easy to get from town. We'll definitely be back, and for much longer!

Pringi's homestay felt like a truly warm and genuine experience. From the first time we met, she treated us like friends. Her home sits among beautiful jungle, and the rooms are comfortable. She's an excellent cook, making delicious meals, and knows the area well. She was always available to help with anything. Thank you for everything, Pringi ❤️
