Mahesh and his team were wonderful hosts, always ready to help and making us feel welcome. He even helped us put together a daily plan. We loved the pool and our room, and breakfast overlooking the mini forest was awesome. The place is nicely removed from the bustle of Kandy town.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful, including arranging a taxi. The location was okay, though it takes quite a tuktuk ride to reach the city centre. Breakfast was decent but nothing special, and get there early because the curry gets cold. We also missed having a mosquito net, which I’d strongly recommend.

The pool was awesome, and the rooms had a lot of charm. Staff were caring and helpful. It’s about 15 minutes by tuktuk to the town’s main area. The downside for me was the wifi, which was very slow and kept losing its connection. I sometimes need to work while traveling, and the Booking.com reviews had said it was fast and stable.

We spent three nights here with friends and were more than happy with our stay. Everyone was so helpful and nice, and the restaurant food was great. Make sure to visit nirwaan Ayurvedic spa too. It’s absolutely worth staying here when you visit kandy!

The swimming pool was a perfect gathering spot for the family after a day out exploring, and the staff looked after us from morning through after dinner. We wanted for nothing. Veraima feels tucked away from the beaten path, even though it’s perfectly located. The rooms are charming, with rustic elegance, and had comfortable beds, plenty of space, and bathrooms with hot water. Beautiful tree covered surroundings made it feel like a home away from home. Definitely the darling of hotels in Kandy.
