The worst part was dealing with the manager, who was rude, arrogant, and had no idea how to speak to customers. This place was a complete disaster, and I would never recommend it to anyone. It was one of my worst stays ever. Before booking, we specifically asked whether the hot water, AC, and other facilities were working. The manager confidently said everything was fine, but once we'd paid, that changed. There was no hot water at all. When we called to report it, the manager cut the call aggressively and showed no professionalism. The TV didn't work, and the fan made an unbearable, frightening noise. Guests couldn't control the AC because it was operated from their side. The room was filthy, poorly maintained, and felt neglected. It didn't meet even basic standards. Owner, please pay attention: your manager is ruining the business. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The ground-level staff were friendly, though a few other staff members weren't very friendly. The place wasn't maintained properly, and I wouldn't recommend it at all. There were no card payments, Wi-Fi, basic tea or coffee, or even a bottle of water. There was no mug to drink water from, and the hot water, AC, and TV weren't working properly. The old ceiling fan was noisy. This was my first stay with them, and it'll be my last.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and we felt at home. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had the modern amenities we needed. Vendol Maliga Edge is a convenient, peaceful place in the heart of Kandy, just a short walk from the Dalada Maligawa and the Temple of the Tooth. It was excellent value for money. I'd recommend it to families, couples, or anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Kandy.

The room and bathroom were spotless, and getting around from here was easy. A nice place at a very reasonable price.

The photos looked great, but the room was a letdown for my wife and me. For 5500 a night, there were no towels or bottled water, the room was unclean, the furniture was old, and there was no hot water. I wouldn’t recommend it.
