Breakfast came with plenty to choose from, a tasty, generous spread of Sri Lankan and English food. The room was clean and comfortable, and the stay felt like great value. It's set higher up and a little outside town, so it was peaceful and came with a lovely mountain view.
The owners were a lovely couple and helped us out a lot. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice view, good air conditioning, and hot water. Breakfast was nice too. It was also not far from Kandy's scenic spots, with hilly views around.
The homestay is about a 15-minute drive out of the city, but the view across Kandy makes the trip worth it. The couple who run it were lovely and very welcoming, and they cooked us two delicious breakfasts with really generous portions.
The owner was so kind and sweet. He suggested a few places for us to see, packed us a really tasty breakfast because we had an early train, and even gave me a cute elephant necklace. The view was stunning, and being away from the city center bustle made the stay feel lovely. We had an amazing time with this wonderful owner couple, and I'd definitely come back if I visit Kandy again! ❤️🥹
We booked three nights at High View Homestay, and it was such a calm, peaceful stay, almost like being at home. The service was super friendly, and the mountain scenery was breathtaking. A great spot for a laid-back getaway. 🏡🌄
