The room was basic, but it had what I needed, and that view was amazing. The owners were the sweetest, kindest people I've met in Sri Lanka, and they helped me sort out excursions and transport. Breakfast was included, tasty, and filling enough to set me up for exploring town. If I return to Kandy, I'll stay here again. Thank you!

We usually arrange our own travel and don't book trips, so we first planned to get an Uber to Sigiriya. The owner then offered us a driver at a fair price, with all the stops we wanted and no rush around pickup or the end of the day. We had a really relaxed trip and managed to see Sigiriya, hike Pidurangala, visit Dambulla caves and the Golden buda temple, and stop for lunch. The drivers were very friendly, and we're grateful to everyone. The room was nice, with lovely views from there and from the breakfast terrace. We enjoyed watching monkeys jumping around the area. Breakfast was very good and generous, and the staff were super friendly too.

The room was basic, but fair for what it cost. Mostly, I gave it five stars for the lovely, helpful staff. The boss sorted out several transport arrangements, which was a godsend. Breakfast was nice, and the view was amazing.

It's in a nice spot on the hillside, and you can get to Kandy on foot pretty quickly. Our ground-floor room was spacious, and the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was okay. The room itself felt dated and not very cozy, with a musty smell. The bathroom was dirty and a little shabby, and the faucet was broken. The other rooms looked much better, so I'd try to avoid the ground-floor one.
