The bathroom showers were broken, and water leaked from every item in there. The receptionist and owner were both crazy and seemed to know nothing about hospitality or customer service. Worst place I've ever been to. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The room itself was good, but reception didn't seem very responsible. They put us in a different room from the one we'd booked, and we only realized at checkout. In the end, they charged us extra and said it was our mistake.

We booked a triple room two weeks ahead for university, and there were three of us girls. We'd paid all the charges before going in, then found the door had no lock and the side door was broken, so we couldn't lock up. The fan didn't work, there was no equipment to even make tea, and there were no blankets. When I asked, they said everything was washed and wet. I contacted the owner, who told me to book somewhere else if I had these problems. How could we find another place in Kandy in such a hurry? The maintenance was very poor and the place was dirty. I was very disappointed and don't recommend it.

The location is calm and quiet, which is a shame given how badly the place is run. I've stayed twice, and both times the staff were nothing short of crazy. The property is owned by a separate group, but the team running it has terrible customer service and speaks to people badly. Even after confirming our arrival, they made us wait for rooms to be cleaned. Punctuality seemed nonexistent. The people managing it were rude and unprofessional, and the showers in the rooms were broken too. It's a classic case of bad management ruining a business. I would never recommend it.
