Villa Nine Kandy

Feel Home, also known as The Villa Nine, is run by a welcoming, friendly family. It’s just a short walk from the lake and very close to Sri Dalada Maligaya. The traditional Sri Lankan furnishings give the place a lovely look, and our room was spacious and clean, with a well-appointed bathroom and a hot water shower. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious. The hosts were happy to suggest things to do nearby. On request, they let guests use their home kitchen to prepare puja or meals for a toddler. We had a wonderful stay at Feel Home and would recommend it to anyone looking for a homestay in Kandy.

The rooms at Villa Nine were clean and spacious, with a good view, and breakfast was nice. I first found Navinda and Akinda while planning my Sri Lanka trip months ago, and they were helpful, patient, kind, and warm from the start. Navinda gave useful advice about which route to take and when to hire a driver, and I can vouch for his suggestions now that I’m here. We drove from Negombo to Kandy, then from Kandy to Nany-Oya, with Akinda, Navinda’s brother, as our driver. He was calm, kind, patient, and professional, offering suggestions when we asked. He wasn’t pushy at all, and I’d absolutely recommend him.

We really enjoyed staying at Villa nine. The rooms were super clean, breakfast was plentiful, and our hosts were wonderful. We booked a few tours with the brothers at reasonable prices, and they turned out to be lovely experiences. Thanks so much for all the kindness and hospitality 🙏🏼

We spent two nights here and loved it ❤️ Breakfast on the terrace, with its beautiful view, was incredible. Our room was nice and clean, and the people were very hospitable. They helped us get to Nuvara Elia railway station, stopping at beautiful places along the way for photos and excursions. We visited tea gardens, a tea factory, and Ramboda fall. We’re so grateful for the lovely trip ☺️
