For what we paid at Livinya Hotel, Katharagama, I expected much better. The bedsheets were torn, the commode was broken, and the water heater didn't work in the morning. Service was poor, and there was no complimentary breakfast, tea, or coffee, so every extra cost more. It wasn't worth the money and fell short of what we expected.

The Sri Lankan food is top-notch, and the pool is a great place for a dip after a day out. For pilgrims, this may be one of the best hotels in Katagrama. The rooms are large enough for four people, with two four-poster king beds.

The clean room and washroom had a good supply of hot water, which can be hard to find at hotels around Kataragama. Maha Devalaya and Kiri vehera are both within walking distance. Good value for money, and we'll definitely come back when we're in the area.

Getting to Maha Devalaya, Kiri Vehera, and other nearby places was easy. The food was amazing, and Mr. Himantha and the team did their best to make us comfortable. The manager and staff were friendly and flexible, ready to serve us the way we wanted. Thank you for the service at Livinya Resort.

We loved the spacious family room at Livinia Holiday Resort, and the staff were friendly and explained the service well. The resort is in the heart of Kataragama, a short trip from Kataragama Maha Devalaya, with Sella Kataragama close by too. There is plenty of parking, nice seating, a generator, a restaurant, and a pool. The pool needs urgent repairs, though: many tiles are missing, which could be dangerous for users. There was no warning about it, but I heard they are planning to renovate it. We had a lovely stay and appreciated the care from the staff and management.
