A quiet, relaxing place for a family stay, right near the beginning of Kataragama Sithulpawwa Road. We stayed in the four-bedroom air-conditioned apartment with attached bathrooms and a kitchen. It was comfortable, but the linen wasn't up to standard, so I'd suggest bringing your own towels. There's plenty of parking, and they also have non-air-conditioned rooms and dormitory-style accommodation for larger student groups. You can use the cooking facilities and have a cook and assistant prepare meals if you bring the groceries. For our group of 14, the charges listed as of 15/04/2019 were Rs. 1,000.00 per day to use the kitchen, gas, and utensils, plus Rs. 500.00 for breakfast, Rs. 600.00 for lunch, and Rs. 600.00 for dinner for the cook and assistant. They can also arrange a jeep safari to Yala through the nearby Katagamuwa entrance. The jeep cost Rs. 5,000.00 per safari, not including the park fee.

The attached kitchen has a fully equipped pantry, and you can get dinner and breakfast made by a local cook if you provide the raw ingredients. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. A great spot for a short stay.

The place is calm and quiet, and the caretaker is very attentive. The cook, who comes when requested, is unbelievably good, and the food was perfect. My only complaint is that there was no soap or towels, but I can still recommend staying here.
