The Beach Cabanas

The open, free atmosphere is really attractive. Highly recommend it for families wanting to spend a long day here. Come and enjoy the place.

We planned to stay for two nights but ended up staying seven, and only left because we had to travel. The team were very professional, and you can tell they love their work. The hotel was clean, with daily room service and a complimentary five-litre bottle of mineral water each day, something no other place offered us. Breakfast was good, with a few options. We paid an average of $80 a night, which felt very reasonable. The beach is literally five steps away, and the sunsets are beautiful from the bathroom, your private deck or the shore. I only wish we'd found it earlier or could have stayed longer.

You can hear the waves crashing on the shore at night, and the location is fantastic. The rooms are nice, though they could use a fresh coat of paint. We only slept in ours, so it didn't bother us. Food was fine, but there wasn't much choice. The dining room itself was too quiet and had no atmosphere without music. On our last night we found out we could eat next door by giving our room number, and that was much better, with music and a livelier feel. I'd definitely go again.
