The staff made our stay at Saffron & Blue feel special. They took care of all the details, and the two chefs cooked some unforgettable meals. Naveen, Kumudu, and Rajeev deserve a particular thank you for going above and beyond. We were in Bentota for my sister’s wedding at the Sheraton next door, and the villa worked perfectly for dinners and small parties. The staff organized everything smoothly, which made celebrating there easy and enjoyable. There were nine of us, and the spacious villa was comfortable for everyone. A little refurbishing in places would improve it, but we had a fantastic time and left with beautiful memories. I’d recommend Saffron & Blue to anyone looking for a comfortable villa stay in Bentota with great service. August 2025

The meals were a real highlight, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout. Saffron and Blue Villa has a peaceful feel that made it easy to relax. From the setting to the hospitality, it’s a lovely place for a memorable break. Highly recommended.

The interior is unusual, and it stayed wonderfully cool inside even with strong sun outside. The staff were so kind and caring. Honestly, I struggled to find anything to complain about. 10/10, recommended!

The villa has nice, good-sized rooms, and the staff cook good food, though the choices are limited. Watch your valuables and don’t leave anything unattended. They tend to overcharge when you leave.

The beach is a few metres away rather than right out front, but the hotel itself is lovely. It’s quiet and secluded, with lots of privacy, so it suits a small group or a honeymoon couple. We had amazing food from the à la carte menu, and Kumudu and Rajeev were efficient, lovely caretakers. There’s a pretty pool, a garden, and open areas to hang out. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are very large and come with all the amenities.
