Grand Arena Hotel

I've been to Grand Arena in Ambathale several times for lunch, and the experience has been reliably good. You can get rice and curry or fried rice, prices are reasonable, and the food is above average in both taste and quality. Service has been attentive and supportive, with no unnecessary delays. There's also a pool, so it's a nice place for a simple day out or a small function. Parking is ample, which makes a visit easy. I haven't tried the accommodation, but the restaurant and leisure facilities have already made a good impression.

We've been here several times on weekends for a swim. At Rs. 600 per person, it's been a good experience each time.

We went there today for my birthday, and I was nervous beforehand that the place might not be good or worth the money. It turned out to be really nice. We got an air-conditioned room to change and rest, and it was very clean with good facilities that all worked better than expected. The food was served very cleanly, tasted fair, and the pool was clean too. Staff were great, there was good privacy, and everything felt worth the price. The room had an attached bathroom with a shower, gel, shampoo and three bathrobes. There was also a TV, though its display wasn't in good condition, a fan, and a kettle with two glasses. We didn't try the kettle, so I don't know if it worked. The pool has separate changing rooms for men and women, with working showers. Everything went really well, and it's a nice place to celebrate something. 🩷🩷
