Sachinro Hotel Mirissa

The internet was unreliable, working sometimes and dropping out at other times, which was inconvenient. Reception staff spoke very little English, so it was hard to explain problems or get useful help. During our six day stay, the towels and sheets were never changed, and the room wasn't properly cleaned. There was no toilet paper when we arrived. The bathroom and room weren't clean, the fridge was dirty inside, and things generally looked neglected and poorly maintained. The hotel falls short on basic cleanliness and service. I wouldn't recommend it without major improvements to housekeeping, communication, and maintenance.

The great location didn't make up for the problems during our stay. Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and there was loud party noise late at night. Housekeeping was poor, with rooms left uncleaned and towels unchanged. We also had maintenance issues, including a leaking shower and a dirty fridge.

This rating is only about the food, I can't rate the hotel itself. Dinner felt like a scam. The staff couldn't get our order right, and the fried chicken was terrible. The serving was child sized, with about half of it made up of bones. It had almost no taste.

There was barely any chicken in the order, just bones, and the portion was much too small. For what I paid, it wasn't worth it at all. I won't order again unless the portions improve and there's actual meat.
