The veranda facing the beach was a lovely spot to unwind and take in the view. The water is good for swimming in the waves, with a decent depth and no strong currents pulling back that we noticed. Breakfast was good, and the local restaurant served tasty food too. A peaceful place to stay.

Jayantha gives this little guesthouse such a welcoming feel, and we really enjoyed being here. The rooms are clean and very good, and the place itself is brand new. The beach stays much quieter than Hikkaduwa. Prices are reasonable, and we’re hoping to return next winter.

There were hardly any other people around, so it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. The food was really tasty, and the hotel sits right on the beach with waves rolling in.
