It’s a lovely, quiet spot, and the beach is beautiful, just a one-minute walk away. The family who owns it are really friendly and happy to help, and they cook authentic Sri Lankan food. There’s surfing nearby with fewer people than at the crowded Weligama spots. My room was a little small but had enough space, and the terrace was a great place to relax. Booking by texting them on WhatsApp was super easy. I’d absolutely recommend staying here!
The host, “Mama,” made me feel like family from the start. She cooked for me every day without expecting anything back, and her warmth and generosity made the stay special. The rooms were spotless, with mosquito nets, and I slept comfortably. You can see the ocean from the common area, and one of the southern region’s most beautiful beaches is less than a minute away. It became my favorite place to unwind. For a welcoming homestay in a great location, I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll definitely be back.
We’ve spent three holidays here already. The family is wonderful and helps with everything, the rooms are clean, and the beach is so close. Just a lovely place.
The room was simple, beautiful, and clean, and the family running this homestay are warm, lovely people. Service was very good, with water bottles always left outside and clean towels. Try the local Sri Lankan food too. Sanat can take you snorkeling. I’d love to come stay with this family again.
