The breakfast alone made this a lovely place to stay for a few days, and the price was reasonable with it included. The woman who runs the hotel is so welcoming, and cooks a delicious breakfast. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Welligama.

We’ve returned to Lotus Villa on our second trip to Sri Lanka and were happy to be back. It’s a great base around Weligama or other surf beaches. The host is kind and often let us try local food. The villa is peaceful and has everything we needed, including a kitchen and washing machine. We really enjoyed staying here.

The rooms are comfortable and fresh, and it’s easy to get to the beach. A good place to unwind, with great food and service too. Good value for the stay.

The manager and staff were very hospitable, and the place was clean and tidy. We had delicious local food in a neat dining room. It was economical compared with nearby hotels, and I felt completely safe. Highly recommended.
