The owner and his family were so welcoming and helped with whatever I needed. I arrived feeling a bit sick, and he brought extra blankets and made me ginger infusion. The hospitality went well beyond what I expected. The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. There’s a lovely quiet beach about a ten-minute walk away, and the kitchen has everything needed to cook. I also rented a bike for a very good price. I’d gladly recommend this place and will definitely come back 🥹

Tharaka was one of the best hosts I’ve met. He was willing to help with anything I asked, and went out of his way many times just out of kindness, not for money. Treat him respectfully and he’ll treat you the same. I stayed in two of the three rooms, and both were pretty comfortable. One room has no AC, but the fan was fine for me. The place was generally clean, though it’s not the kind of place that puts a mint on your pillow. For the room prices, it’s a great option. Whether you’re traveling solo or as a couple, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed unless you’re very picky.

Kethuki and his family made my nine days in Weligama easy from start to finish. There was always someone around with help or information, so I never had to worry about a thing. The bikes for rent were good and amazingly priced, and the place had all the amenities I needed. I stayed in the room with the balcony view and was really glad I chose it. The house is lovely and comfortable, with a great atmosphere. It’s on a quiet little street behind the main road, so traffic noise is low while everything is still close by. Ketature beach, a small, clean and beautiful beach, was the best one I found in Weligama. A real hidden gem. No complaints, just gratitude. I hope I can come back!
