The pool water was clean and the area looked well cared for, and there was plenty of parking. Getting here from the highway or main roads was easy. The service team were cheerful, friendly, and helpful throughout, and the food and drinks met expectations. I do wish there were one price standard for locals and foreigners. I was surprised to find different pricing in Kurunegala, something I hadn't experienced in Colombo. Even a restaurant I visited near the lake had a separate menu for foreign guests.

We had a lovely stay in the luxury rooms, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The food was delicious, both from the menu and at the buffet. We had a fantastic time at Kandyan reach hotel and will definitely come back. A great choice for couples or families.

We went to Kandyan Reach Hotel for lunch on 4th January 2026, and the buffet had a huge spread, including plenty of desserts. The staff were warm and gave us personal attention, so we felt comfortable. It’s on Kandy Road and easy to reach, with good facilities and quite affordable prices. We’d choose it again for our next gathering. 👍

A fast 60 kW DC charger makes The Kandyan Reach a handy stop for electric vehicle users. It’s close to the Kurunegala interchange, so it works well for a quick top-up while traveling long distance. The place is maintained well, easy to get to, and felt safe even at night. There’s somewhere to relax while charging, which is a real plus. A great initiative for EV infrastructure in Sri Lanka, and I’d recommend it to anyone passing through Kurunegala in an electric vehicle. ⚡🚗
