The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and I was delighted with my stay in early February. Kingfisher House really does feel magical. I loved sitting in the rocking chair on one veranda, looking out over the sea or lagoon with herons, with water stretching as far as I could see. The spacious upstairs room had soaring ceilings, screens, sofas, armchairs, and cozy corners. There are two verandas on opposite sides, plus a fully equipped kitchen and a roomy shower. It never felt stuffy, so I didn’t need to air it out. There were two fans and air conditioning, too. It seems better suited to a family with children or a group than a couple, but I was looking for somewhere cozy and comfortable, and it was just right. Thank you!
