The portions are large enough to share between more than two adults, and the food tastes good. The menu isn't extravagant, but what they serve is well looked after. It's a small place right by the beach, though you can barely see it at night. Service was delayed, probably because there were too few staff during the difficult period, which I understand. I'd definitely consider going back.

The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the service is pretty good too. It's by the beach, so try to get there before dark to enjoy it. The place is near the city centre and easy to find: go into the fort, drive about 1 km, then ask someone nearby. A good spot to hang out with friends, preferably for the boys. Give it a try, I'm sure you won't regret it!

There's a good crowd here in the evenings, and sometimes they have live music. During football season, matches are projected onto a huge screen. It's a great place for birthdays, family get-togethers, or office outings, with friendly staff, reasonable food prices, and exceptional cleanliness compared with similar spots in Matara. The place is inside Matara fort, close to the sea, though a fence blocks access to the seaside. A decent place to get together with friends and have a beer.

My favorite place in all of Sri Lanka! The seafood rice with deviled fish is really awesome, highly recommend it.

The generous portions come at affordable prices, and the sea view is lovely. It's right on the beach, though the service can be slower than at other restaurants. Sometimes wind blows sand into the dining area, which is unpleasant. Still recommend it.
