Prasad’s thoughtfulness made our stay at Bon Accord Mirissa especially memorable. When he spotted the little flower in my wife’s hair as we were heading out one evening, he later surprised her with a handmade flower necklace. We’ll remember that gesture for a long time. He’d prepared a beach bag with towels, a printed list of places to visit and eat in Mirissa, and a torch for emergencies. He explained how everything in the room worked, so we didn’t have to puzzle over the switches or plugs, and there was an international adapter at every plug point. From the minute we arrived, Prasad was warm and welcoming. Bon Accord Mirissa is a fantastic choice if you want a host who really cares about your experience. Highly recommended.

We loved starting each day with breakfast. Prasad made a real effort to present and explain different typical Sri Lankan foods, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also lovely to chat with the other guests each morning. The room and the rest of the guest house were spotlessly clean, and watching monkeys and peacocks from the balcony was a delight. This was our second stay at Bon Accord, and it still went beyond what we expected. Mirissa has changed a lot since our last visit, but the guest house and its immediate surroundings remain a peaceful haven. Prasad is such a genuine host. I can’t recommend the place highly enough 🤩🤩. Thank you, Prasad. We hope to come back one day 🙏 🙏🙏

The location worked really well, just a short walk from a beautiful beach. The owner, who was also our host, was so kind and shared lots of useful recommendations. We loved the clean, comfortable room and shared living area, and the breakfast was delicious, an authentic Sri Lankan experience. Everything felt perfect. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Waking up to peacocks and the sound of birds was magical, and Mirissa beach and the market are both walkable. Prasad even made me a flower tiara, then arranged fresh flowers for us to offer as we were leaving. Such a thoughtful touch. He’s humble, genuine, and knowledgeable, and patiently explained the house rules and gave us helpful guidance about the area. The house is beautifully kept, with charming antiques and artistic details. Our room was neat and comfortable, and the washroom was spotless with all the required amenities. Breakfast had an outstanding range, and it was filling enough to keep us going through the day. Excellent value for money, and highly recommended for a warm, memorable stay in Mirissa. 🌸🦚✨

The breakfasts are an experience worth having. Prasard prepares them himself, and there’s more than enough food, so you’ll only need an evening meal. The host also welcomed us with a drink and shared tips on getting around, places to see, and restaurants. A lovely location, spotless rooms, and beautiful decor.
