For a first visit to Sri Lanka, this was awesome. It's a family business, and the hosts were polite and friendly, taking care of everything. The place is super clean too. Gavin knows the area well and gave us helpful advice on what to see and how to get there. Secret Beach is about a 15-20 minute walk, and the beaches along the main road are around 10 minutes away. A great place to start a holiday.

The hosts were really kind and helpful, with great advice and plenty of tips for getting around Mirisa. The accommodation itself was fresh and very clean. We only had two rooms, but they let us use an extra room to meet up and have a drink, which was a lovely gesture.

The owner was thoughtful and very nice, and we'd recommend his place to other travellers. We spent three weeks in Sri Lanka, and this was easily our best night, which says a lot. Everything was so clean and well thought out, with lovely decor and the comfiest bed. I still think about it at the hotels we've stayed in since. The room felt fresh as soon as we walked in, and even the sheets smelled great. For this price, it's a 10/10 and by far the best stay we've had in Sri Lanka. Trust me, you'll love it.

The host was so welcoming, friendly, and caring. Our room was spacious and really clean, and the bed was comfortable with a great mosquito net. Just a heads up if you're sensitive to noise, we could hear road traffic from the front room we stayed in.
