One8 Mirissa has clean, comfortable rooms and good value for money. The hosts are so welcoming that it feels like you’re part of the family, and the breakfast is a highlight, with tasty homemade food to start the day. It’s a five-minute walk to Mirissa Beach, and there’s also access to a secret beach. A cozy, friendly place to stay in Sri Lanka.

From the moment we arrived, the family greeted us with smiles and made us feel so welcome. The service was impeccable, and everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you for the warm welcome.

The room was lovely, with a fresh lemongrass smell, and everything in it seemed brand new. The bed was roomy and really comfortable, and there was both AC and a fan. The private bathroom was clean and new too. The family’s young son welcomed us with a cocktail. Breakfast was delicious: fresh watermelon juice, coconut crepes, and pancakes. We had our independence, and the restaurant they recommended was excellent. Our host also drives a tuk-tuk, so the next day you can ask for a ride and get some great advice.
