Anchorage Mirissa

We had to leave halfway through our stay, and the manager and staff were very accommodating about it. They were friendly, the rooms were nice, and the location was fantastic.

We booked two nights and ended up staying four because the room was so cozy, quiet and clean. Kanushka and his team were incredibly accommodating and did so much to make our stay special. They shared their holiday with us, made traditional snacks, and lent us a surfboard. We loved being here and will come back if we’re in Mirissa again. Thanks for the hospitality 💜

The staff were attentive and made me feel very welcome, and for the price I think it’s good value in Mirissa. It’s a nice little hotel near Mirissa Beach, cafés and restaurants. The basic rooms were comfortable, though the shower in mine didn’t drain properly, so maintenance could be better. Breakfast was simple Western food, eggs on toast, fruit and so on, but I enjoyed it.

It’s a good deal for the price, and the hotel is clean, well maintained, with good service and a nice breakfast. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. I’d suggest adding mosquito nets to the beds. I stayed at several hotels in this area and all had mosquitos, but none had netting. Maybe they haven’t made their way to this part of the world yet? It only takes one mosquito to keep you awake all night.
