The scooter I rented here had low kms, was in great mechanical shape, and the hire was hassle free. The person helping me was professional and accommodating, especially after I lost the key on Christmas morning. The local accommodation was clean and friendly, and the location was beautiful. The beach is very close, and from the second floor there's a good view. The bed linen is cotton, the wifi was good, and there is even a washing machine for clothes in the guest house. The owner was always in touch, helpful, positive, and kind. I spent a month here and everything was very good. It's a nice, cozy place for a few days or a month. I plan to stay at Mirissa Golden Resort again next time.

My boyfriend stayed at Mirissa Golden Resort for two and a half months, and I stayed for two weeks. It's a beautiful, quiet place run by a lovely, helpful family. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the beach is only a two minute walk away ♥️

We ended up leaving without staying because the owner was so rude. My partner and I went to look at one of the rooms, liked it, and asked the price and whether we should book through Booking.com. He wouldn't give us a price and went quiet so the other guests couldn't hear. Instead, he kept asking how much we wanted to pay. We didn't know the rate, so I said we'd check it online. He repeated the question, so I gave him a figure, then said we weren't sure how many nights because we'd only just arrived in the area. He mumbled, shut the door, and said, "you don't work so you have time to go to to hotels and ask see rooms. Don't waste my time." I hadn't wasted his time. I only wanted to know the room price, and we were happy to stay if we could get one. He was rude and obnoxious. Be warned. His behavior wasted his time and cost him the booking.
