I was bitten by a snake outside our room after stepping on it without seeing it. Our hosts reacted straight away: one person went to look for the snake, another called an ambulance, and our host and his wife tried to get the venom out of my foot. They came with us to Matara hospital, helped explain what had happened, got me some water and food, and stayed for a couple of hours. Once they knew I was safe, they drove my girlfriend back to the hotel. I can't thank them enough. A simple thank you doesn't cover it, and I'll never forget their help. If this story makes you consider staying here, I can say the hosts are good people who are ready to help in a crisis. They remember this as the first snake bite in the area, so don't be afraid, especially if you watch where you step. The room itself was spacious and very clean, with a big bed and a comfortable bathroom.

The family running the place made our stay. They were always up for a chat and helped with advice and whatever we needed. They even showed us how to play a typical Sri Lankan game, which was so much fun. We stayed here 10 minutes on foot from Mirissa centre and under 10 minutes by bike from Weligama. The room was large and very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and each morning there was a delicious, generous breakfast. This was easily the best place we stayed on our trip around Sri Lanka. I'll definitely come back! Thank you. Their dog is the best, too.

We were there for a few nights. The owners are lovely, and their dog Rexi is too. Our room was very clean, and breakfast was included and really tasty.

Such a welcoming family, and the room was really comfortable. One of the best guesthouses I've stayed in, highly recommend it!
