The location is lovely, close to the beach but away from the city bustle, and the rooms were great. The service made me feel at home. Sir and Maam were wonderful hosts who looked after and protected me during the hardest time. In a different country, there was nothing more I could have asked for. I’m grateful I met such kind people and had the best experience in Srilanka. If you’re in Mirrissa, this is your sign to stay here.

We stayed here in January 2025, and it was a great stay from start to finish. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and answered all our questions. They also brought us a lovely breakfast each morning. The hotel was very clean, with big rooms and beds large enough even for me at 6ft 6 tall. It’s near the secret beach, which worked perfectly for us. I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying in Mirissa.

The balcony view was one of our favorite parts, absolutely beautiful and memorable. The room was cozy and well looked after, and we felt comfortable despite being a little unsure about guest house privacy at first. We spent a week here and really enjoyed it. Our hosts were warm, friendly, and respectful. Breakfast mixed Sri Lankan and continental food, with a changing menu each morning. We had eggs, pancakes, fruit, smoothies, and coffee. Hot water in the shower was available later in the day, but that didn’t cause us any trouble. The internet usually handled calls and daily tasks, with occasional interruptions. We’d happily come back and recommend the place.

We felt at home during our five days at The Secret Mirage, run by a local family who treated us like family. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and each morning brought a different breakfast. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, a solid 10/10, with a small balcony where we watched the sunset. There’s also a roof terrace upstairs with a great view of the midnight stars. Secret Beach is a five-minute walk away, and Main Beach takes 15 minutes. This was easily our favorite stay of the two-week vacation.

The sea view from our room was a lovely surprise. We had the best time at Secret Mirage, with lovely hosts and delicious breakfasts. Can 100% recommend it in Mirissa 🧡
