The hotel was clean and tidy, and the pool was a welcome addition in the heat. It's handy for the main road, with the beach, cafes, restaurants, and public transport along the coast all accessible. Unfortunately, a government announcement played through a very loud speaker with drumming for 27 hours without stopping. We couldn't block out the noise at all, and barely slept. There were young families staying at the hotel too, so I imagine it affected everyone. Such a shame, since the place itself was clean and tidy.

My booking was confirmed, but nobody let me know it had been cancelled. I only discovered the red alarm on the day I was due to check in. When I called to ask the older woman what had happened, she stopped speaking and then yelled at me before suddenly hanging up. That terrible service nearly ruined my day and my impression of Srilanka. If you'd like to be left sleeping on the road in the middle of the night, book here.

It's one of the quieter hotels in Mirissa, so it seems like a good fit for families. The rooms are spacious, and the staff are incredibly kind. You're just a two-minute walk from the main street, but the hotel stays quiet in the evening, and the beach is under five minutes away.

The recent reviews really don't do this place justice. The hostess was amazing, the pool was great, and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. We had air conditioning, and the mattress and pillows were super comfy. In the morning, the owner lit incense around the place, which gave everything such a peaceful feel. Breakfast was delicious too, with lots of choice and fresh juices.

The location is a little off the beaten track, which makes it quiet and free from noise. Bring a headlight if you're going out after dark. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were some of the best I've had in Sri Lanka. We had a fantastic stay. The owners were friendly and clearly did their best to make us comfortable. Highly recommend!
