Temple Pond Villa Colombo

The kids loved the pool, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Mr Nanayakara and the caretaker were polite and helpful. The place is calm, beautiful, and clean, with a relaxing atmosphere. Just a few minutes from Colombo, it feels like being in a village. You get more than your money's worth. We'd definitely go back, and highly recommend Temple Pond Villa.

The pool was clean, and the pool house was beautiful. There was plenty of garden space, kept neat and tidy. The villa itself was cozy and very nicely maintained and managed. The host and staff were friendly, kind, helpful, and accommodating.

The staff were so supportive and kind. We called with what we needed, and they set things up to suit us, helping plan a lovely surprise party and going with the flow. Can't say enough about how easy they were to deal with. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and living area. There's a smart TV with internet, plus kitchen utensils for guests to use. You can make tea or coffee in the house, or ask the staff to bring some from their kitchen. Outside food is allowed. Towels and sanitary items are available, and every room has a mirror table and cupboard. The outdoor pool can be used all day if you're staying overnight, though there may be restrictions for day visits. Loud noises at the pool aren't encouraged after 10pm because they disturb the neighbours, but you can still use it if you keep the noise down. There's parking for about 3-4 vehicles in the large garden. The gates are electronic and locked from the inside, so entering from outside without permission isn't allowed or possible. All in all, one of the best places in the Colombo district if you're after a private villa.
