The room linens looked like they hadn't been changed after the previous guest. My sheets and pillowcases seemed to have been reused without even basic cleaning. I was horrified by the lack of basic hygiene. It's unacceptable and shows disregard for guests' health and cleanliness. This was disgusting as well as disappointing, and I'd advise against staying unless the owner starts prioritizing hygiene and guests' well-being.

Bianca is a lovely, helpful owner who does what she can to make sure you have a good stay in Negombo beach. The location is excellent, about a two-minute walk to the beach, but set back from the main road so it's quiet. I'd pay a little extra to move up from the standard room to the budget room. Those rooms are clean and modern, and great value. The AC worked well and the bed was really comfortable. Highly recommend!

I stayed here in the first week of Nov 2021. Nice place and ambience, with a good host. We had a late check-in problem, but the host and her son really helped us, accommodating our instant booking late at night and getting the room ready. They also helped with airport support. The beach is across the road, and the ambience there is nice too.

The room was clean and felt safe, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel is close to the beach, though it was hard to find. WiFi only worked out on the terrace, not in the room. It was quite noisy, with renovations going on all evening. There were lots of mosquitoes and no mosquito net in the room. We didn't get hot water from the showers, but in the hot weather that didn't bother us.

It's a simple place close to Negombo city center and the beach. The owner was very warm-hearted, and the premium rooms looked nice. We rented a standard room, which wasn't the nicest experience: it had only a small window and no hot water. Still, for the price, it was okay.
