Jetwing Lagoon Wellness, A Luxury Reserve - Adults Only

I had an amazing stay at Jetwing Lagoon Wellness on the Balance and Bliss wellness package. The massages from Koshika and Insam were wonderful, and the food was the best I had during my time in Sri Lanka. The staff made me feel cared for and special throughout, with real kindness and attention to detail. The accommodation, amenities, professionalism, and service were all top tier. I’d recommend this place highly to anyone wanting a luxury wellness escape.

The dishes we asked for weren’t on the menu, but the staff still prepared them, and our whole group enjoyed them. We ordered chicken fried rice, chicken noodles, devilled chicken, and hot butter cuttlefish, all delicious. We first worried about the wellness-focused dining concept after the resort changed into a wellness retreat, but supervisor Indika handled it well. He arranged the food we wanted and suggested portions that worked for our group. Malindu served us politely and attentively, making sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the evening. My family and I came for dinner today. We’ve visited several times before the resort changed and always had good experiences. This visit was lovely too, with a warm welcome and excellent service. Thanks to the Jetwing Lagoon team, and we look forward to coming back.

The two dogs by the beach pool were extremely cute, and the 100m pool was another highlight. Rooms were okay, and the service was okay, but the staff need more training. Everything was extremely slow. Food could take hours, and after all that waiting it tasted bland, which might be the “wellness hotel” idea. I genuinely don’t know what’s happening in the kitchen. I wouldn’t call this a 5 star hotel, maybe 3 stars, or 5 if it were a non-profit organisation.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. What stood out most was the staff, who were friendly, attentive, and clearly committed to making the stay special. Jetwing Lagoon is set up around wellbeing, with healthy meal choices, personalized consultations with a wellness doctor, and specialized treatments to help you recharge physically and mentally. If you’re stressed or just need a quiet reset, I’d highly recommend it for relaxation and balance. It feels like a complete wellness experience.
