We arrived at night and were told they only had a room without a bathroom, with small beds inside. It was really dirty and nothing like the double room with two double beds and an attached bathroom that we’d booked. When we asked for a lower price, they became very unfriendly, so we had to find another hotel that night. I really can’t recommend this horrible place or its unfriendly people.

The room was roomy and the place was clean, and the manager was really nice. It’s handy for a night or two after arriving in Negombo since it’s close to the airport. For a taxi, tuk-tuk, or van, I wouldn’t pay over 1000 ruppiah. I think 700 is a fair price, though it may depend on whether it’s day or night. If negotiating there doesn’t work, it’s easier once you leave the airport.

They were kind enough to wait for us when we got in late, and the staff were very friendly. It’s a good option if you have a late airport arrival. The rooms are simple, with fans, and breakfast in the morning was good.

A peaceful spot near the airport, and a nice homestay for either the start or end of a trip. We really enjoyed having breakfast and sitting out on the terrace. The housekeeper was warm and helpful.
